IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW

FOOD & REFRESHMENTS:

• You are welcome to bring your own snacks and cold drinks.
• Alcohol is allowed on board, but ONLY ciders, beers and champagne.
• Drugs and Hard liquor are NOT ALLOWED. 
• Please bring non-glass cups to drink from. NO GLASS is allowed. 
• Bad and drunken behaviour will not be tolerated at any time, this causes a risk to the safety of all passengers and crew onboard.

DEPOSIT:

• A 50% Deposit is required to secure your booking.
• Deposits are payable within 48 hours for bookings made well in advance.
• Once your Deposit has been made, send your proof of payment to 081 880 6565 or info@docksidecruises.co.za 
• We need this deposit to secure your booking and so that we know you will not cancel on us last minute. 
• The rest of the fee can be paid on the day of your cruise via our CARD FACILITIES or by CASH.

ON THE DAY OF YOUR CRUISE:

• Please wear comfortable flat shoes (No high heels), & dress warmly if it’s a cold day.
• Be at the departure point, our office, a Full 30 MINUTES BEFORE your cruise time.
• On arrival, each person will be obligated to complete an INDEMNITY form, as well as a SAFETY BRIEFING ACKNOWLEDMENT form.
• Once you have boarded Dockside, before departing, our onboard Steward will spend the first few minutes giving you a safety briefing.

LATE ARRIVALS:

• It must be understood that we run a schedule with trips operating before and after your allocated time and if you are late we cannot let this affect others who arrive on time, furthermore we are not only waiting for you on that day we have many trips and customers to attend to.
• If you arrive after you scheduled time you will lose your trip and deposit.
• We cannot allow the actions of one customer to affect another and so if you are late your trip will be shortened by the time you are late.

REFUND POLICY:

• If you arrive late you will lose the amount of time that you are late by and if you arrive after your scheduled time you will lose your trip and your deposit is not refundable. 
• NO REFUND if guests cancel on the day, or afternoon before hand, or do not arrive in time for their cruise.
• Cancellation due to weather conditons is at the sole discretion of the Captain (Skipper) at the time who will make the decison based on safety reasons and his decision is final as your safety is his responsibility. 
• If, at the last minute, the weather conditions are not good to go out, and we decide to cancel your cruise, we will give you a FULL REFUND or reschedule your booking for a later stage. 

SAFETY & SCHEDULES:

• We reserve the right to make changes to schedules at any time due to operational requirements or weather conditions without notice or at short notice. Unfortunately there are things that happen beyond our control and we have to adapt accordingly. 
• Dockside is legally registered and equipped with the full required safety equipment and life jackets, as required by the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA).
• Children under 12 years old are legally required to wear a Life Jacket at all times. Kiddies Life Jackets are available.
•  Should bad and/or drunken behavour occur during your trip, the Captain (Skipper) will return to the Waterfront immediatly and your trip will be ended with no refund. Should violence occure we will ensure that the authorities will be waiting at the Waterfront on your return to deal with you accordingly.
